Anxiety
Persistent worry, restlessness, or physical tension that gets in the way of daily life. Highly treatable with therapy, medication, or a combination of both.
Patient education
I believe informed patients feel more confident and empowered in their care. My practice includes simple, easy-to-understand education about common mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and substance use disorders.
Conditions we treat
Short, plain-language overviews. These are for general information; a real evaluation is always the first step.
Persistent worry, restlessness, or physical tension that gets in the way of daily life. Highly treatable with therapy, medication, or a combination of both.
More than sadness: low mood, loss of interest, changes in sleep or appetite, and low energy that persist for weeks. Effective, evidence-based treatments exist.
Difficulty with attention, organization, or impulsivity that shows up at school, work, or home. Careful evaluation matters, because treatment is highly individual.
Episodes of elevated mood and energy alternating with periods of depression. With ongoing monitoring and the right plan, mood can be stabilized long-term.
Trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking unrefreshed. Sleep is foundational to mental health, and structured treatment can restore it.
When alcohol or other substances take more than they give. Recovery-oriented care combines medication, support, and relapse-prevention planning, without judgment.

About medications
I also provide clear guidance on medications, including how they work, what to expect, and how to manage potential side effects.
Before starting any medication we review together how it works, what benefits to expect and when, possible side effects and how to manage them, and how we'll monitor progress. You'll never be left guessing about your own treatment.
